From The Very Beginning
Monfriese Rum Cakes began at the age of 10, when my mom taught me how to bake. Of course some cakes burnt to a crisp, while there were other that looked rather volcanic!
Fast forward to 2016, when I registered my business and officially opened my bakery in Niagara Falls in the midst of the pandemic, June 2020. As for a means of survival, we switched gears, closed the brick and mortar and now have excelled in shipping our rum cakes throughout North America.
